I'd recommend getting the full set of singles by Mohawkestra. Every track is killer. Paint it black breathes new life into what we all know is one of the Stone's best. Outrageously funky playing, and super, super in the pocket. I was curious about the name of group. Wondered whether it was from a shared love of Alan Hawkshaw and Sun Ra? Jesse Brown
